HOURS CHANGE!

Beginning in October, We will no longer be open on Saturdays

Beginning the week of October 7th, Evening Hours will also be reduced.

New Hours are:

Regular Hours at all Centers 8am to 5pm

Evening Hours

Centers are open for limited activity. The Computer Labs are open.

Gary: Monday and Wednesday 5pm to 7pm

Hammond: Tuesday and Thursday 5pm to 7pm

East Chicago: Monday 5pm to 7pm

Crown Point: Wednesday 5pm to 7pm

The federal minimum wage for covered nonexempt employees is $5.85 per hour effective July 24, 2007.

Women in Construction

Register today for the Urban Women In Construction Training (UWICT) Program.

UWICT is a 12 month APPLIED LEARNING TRAINING PROGRAM DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE WOMEN TO THE WORLD OF NONTRADITIONAL CAREER OPPORUNITIES IN CONSTRUCTION.

Students will receive structured classroom instruction and on-site-hands-on training.

You may enroll at the following offices:

Broadway Area CDC, 2131 Jackson Street, Suite C, Gary.
